Paul Tiesse – Generational Effects

“They’re pretty uninhibited.”

I have actually seen, in Spokane, more and more same-sex couples holding hands, especially down at the park. In fact, [my partner and I] were down at—maybe it was Pig Out [in the Park]—and there was a male couple holding hands walking up the side. I’ve always seen female couples, especially the younger ones; they’re pretty uninhibited. But [when I saw this male couple,] I thought, “Oh, wow!” Because of my age, I look at it like, “Boy, that’s kind of cool.”
