Spokane in Perspective
I understand Odyssey kids being as afraid to come out as we were, because the same religious people are [still] raising us, the same bigoted people are [still] raising us. They are no different than we were way back when.
I would say [that sexual predation] occurred much more often with the boys, with the men. I had a friend that was raped by a man and he’s been messed up ever since. I think that predators are predators. There are female predators and there are male predators in every walk of life. Sexual predators are the most devious, I think, because they play all the right cards and get people sucked in. And then [they] abuse them. It doesn’t matter if they are gay or straight, pedophiles are pedophiles.
