Maria Hernandez-Peck

Maria Hernandez-Peck was born in Cuba in 1943. As a Social Work student, practitioner, and educator, she has lived all over the United States. She is a specialist on aging; in 1981 she served on the National Advisory Committee to the White House Conference on Aging. In addition, she has been educating the Spokane community about LGBT matters since the 1980s, including through classes she taught at Eastern Washington University.
